STORY ABOUT LAZINESS AND HARDWORK
A wealthy lender used to live in a town with his wife and son. His son Rakesh was a lazy slob, whereas the moneylender was a hard worker. Every morning before sunrise, he went to the Lord Krishna temple, and then he went around his farms and shops, where all of his business was spread. The moneylender was disturbed by his son's slob attitude. One day, he told his son Rakesh to wake up and let's go to the farms and help me with my work. Rakesh refused, saying, "Not now, father, let me sleep for a while." The moneylender became upset and went to the farms by himself. After some days he got very ill and expired.
Rakesh showed no interest in his father's business even after his father's death and even though they were losing a lot of money. 'Son, we're going to lose a lot of money in the business' his mother said when she saw this. "Mother, it is not my fault?" he said. I'm not familiar with the ABCDs of business. I've also never been to a shop or farm. His mother advised him to do one thing: go meet your grandfather, whose house is in a nearby small village, and who knows a lot about your father's business. He needs to find a solution to this problem. Okay, Mom, I'll leave tomorrow.
Rakesh went to greet his grandfather the next morning. His grandfather said to him, "God bless you, son, tell me how you're doing after your father's death." Rakesh explained, "We are facing a significant loss in business; mom advised me to seek your advice because only you can help us end this." Your mother is completely correct, and I have a solution to your problem. Okay Grandpa, tell me immediately. His grandfather replied, you only have to do this, go to Krishna temple early morning and then do your business. He replied, all right grandpa, I will do this daily.
Rakesh began waking up before sunrise the next morning, first going to Krishna temple and then going to his business. Every morning, he started going to his shop and farms. This went on for a few days. The laborers started talking about this, now the boss is coming to work daily, now it appears that we have to stop our stealing. Gradually, all of the labor realized Rakesh was checking the shop and the farms, and out of fear, they stopped all the stealing. The business's loss also decreased, and Rakesh and his mother gradually regained their wealth.
Moral: Laziness is the biggest enemy of human beings.
