RAHUL’S MOBILE ADDICTION

As soon as Rahul came from school, he would take his mother's mobile and begin playing games or start chatting on social sites. Once he sat right down to play, he would keep playing for hours. He was neither worried about homework nor about food. His hobbies were playing football, guitar, and playing games on mobile. But now forgetting everything, he is always on mobile from morning till evening.

Despite both parents' refusal, Rahul doesn't agree, thanks to this habit. Also, he was falling behind in his studies. Thanks to the lack of physical activity, his weight was also increasing continuously. The mother wanted Rahul to play and concentrate on his studies and his health also. But Rahul was not prepared to listen. His mother was now thinking of other ways to teach him.

Rahul’s exam was over. During the vacation, his parents were planning to go to the village with Rahul. Mother wanted Rahul to spend holidays with grandfather and walk and see the village with him. Learn good habits from him and stay fit as they stay fit.

Rahul also agreed to travel together with his parents during the vacations. He thought, 'Going there, my mother won't interrupt me for studies. I will be able to happily play on mobile all day and enjoy.

Mummy had already told Grandfather about Rahul's addiction to playing on mobile. He too had made all preparations to bring Rahul out of the 'virtual world' to the actual world and to concentrate on studies and health.

As soon as the exam was over, Rahul reached the village together with his parents. As soon as he reached there, Grandfather hugged him. Kept him in his room. He woke Rahul early in the morning. In the beginning, Rahul had problems waking early in the morning, but after a short time, Rahul also started enjoying while roaming around. Rahul felt embarrassed after hearing his grandfather's words. He couldn't tell Grandpa that he just plays games on mobile or chat with friends. Rahul liked this morning view considerably.

On returning home, Rahul lay down on the bed and Grandfather started exercising within the courtyard. Seeing them, Rahul's eyes were wide open. After a while Rahul's mother brought him breakfast, then Rahul was relieved.

Two days later, it had been the birthday of Rahul's cousin Amit. Grandfather had called all the children in his house. Grandfather had made all the arrangements for the party.

Seeing the children coming home, Rahul also came out of the house and began playing with them. All the children had lots of fun. He had such fun after a long time. After the party, all the children started going to their respective homes, so Grandfather asked everyone to return the next day in the evening.

The next day Grandfather had organized a Poetry Competition' for the children, during which the winner was also going to get a prize. Grandfather had also called a number of his friends to judge the competition.

In the evening when the children gathered, Rahul Rahul did not participate in the poetry competition. He started thinking, 'When I used to be in third grade, I used to participate in the poetry competition in the class, sometimes I even got the 1st prize. But now I cannot even participate in a poetry competition held in my house.

Rahul couldn't understand which poem to recite. While the remainder of the children were reciting their poems. Rahul was thinking, 'Ever since I started playing games on mobile, I even have stopped paying attention to school studies and physical activities. After the poetry competition was over, Grandfather gave prizes to the three winners. Then everyone danced a lot and after having dinner returned to their respective homes.

After a couple of days, Rahul also returned to his city together with his parents. Rahul had changed after coming from the village. Now he started looking after his health along with his studies. After doing homework, he started going to the park. A week later, when Mummy was talking to the Grandpa on the phone, she heard Mummy saying, “Thanks Appa! Your plan worked."

It didn't take long for Rahul to understand Nanaji’s entire plan. He came out of the room and hugged his mother. Then he said, "You are the greatest mom”.
